Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have introduced a baby girl into the world! Angelina gave birth in Namibia. The couple have named the baby Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt. This is the first time that I have ever been excited about a Hollywood couple's baby news.
But what I find a cruel twist in the road called Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Vince Vaughn is the fact that Jolie has given birth to their daughter only days before Jennifer and Vince's film, The Breakup, is being released, yet again overshadowing Aniston's efforts to move away from that time in her life. Plus critics are slamming the film saying it lacks chemistry (ironic since it was the chemistry between Jolie and Pitt that many believe destroyed Pitts marriage with Aniston), and most critics are bashing the quality of the film saying it is badly written.
How much more can Jennifer Aniston deal with, how much longer can she put on a brave face, she herself must be shocked at how dramatic her life has changed. She went from the "golden girl" with the "perfect" career (Friends), with the "perfect hunky" husband (Brad) and the perfect life. How things change... But though I am not a fan of hers, I respect the way she marches on, defiant and determined...
I am so glad Taylor Hicks won. Even though I was not a fan of his when the show first began he really won me over. And I love the fact that he beat Catherine, this girl used her looks, batting eye lashes, shaking that little bootie, for all its worth. Yet the public saw past her razzle dazzle and voted for Hicks who embodies passion, individuality (though he copies Ray Charles and Joe Cocker quite a bit) and non glam charisma. It's about time we look past the pretty facade and reward whats real.
And finally, I must say I was very happy with my Hippies winning The Amazing Race, they deserved it. They were two of the funniest guys I have ever seen on television and really played the race with determination, respect and a lot of light hearted humor.
I was also happy with this last season of America's Next Top Model. This was the first season that I liked both of the final two girls equally, Danielle won and I was so happy for her, but I would have been just as happy if Joanie had won, and even though she didn't, I sense big things ahead of that girl. Both Danielle and Joanie were really sweet, funny, hardworking girls, free of the cheesy diva persona's that so many wannabes think is cool.

And lets not forget what Jennifer's mother said to her growing up.(ugly)I think that word would haunt you throughout any womens film career.
