I haven't blogged in a while because I have been working very hard on my first novel since November. Since then I took another trip to California to finish some research and hang out with my fam and beautiful God children. I'm on my third draft now and though I've loved the experience I can't wait until this phase is over.
In the meantime so many interesting little things have popped up and I always tell myself, get on and blog, but then I don't.
Write now I am listening to some beautiful music. I discovered Lizz Wright after I downloaded some songs by one of my favorite singers, Cassandra Wilson. I think her sexy smoky voice is enchanting. 
Anyway, itunes suggested Lizz Wright as an artist I would enjoy so I downloaded some of her tunes and while the breadth of her work is not my style the songs that are, really are. 
Some of my favorites are her rendition of the song, I feel the earth move. And her own songs Speak your heart and Another Angel. While one part of the Another Angel tune is a little too 80's for me, it is a beautiful song.
So I've been enjoying my music, writing and have begun the agents search. Wish me luck! and Check out these artist.
